Founded in 2002 through the initiative of GM Smbat Lputian, under the auspices of the Armenian Chess Federation, and supported by the Armenian Government, the Chess Academy of Armenia is the leading center of chess training and organization in Armenia today. The Academy’s mission is multi-faceted: preparing tomorrow’s elite players and trainers to maintain Armenia ’s position as an epicenter in the chess world, organizing top-class chess tournaments attracting top chess players worldwide, and popularizing chess throughout the nation, primarily through its ever-growing network of affiliated chapters.

School Chess Olympiad. Final

School Chess Olympiad which will be held in Tsakhkadzor will start on 7th of May, 2013. It is a Round Robin tournament where eighteen school teams will play with each other.

The Third Stage of School Chess Olympiad

The closing ceremony of School Chess Olympiad third stage was held today in Yerevan City Municipality. The first prize won N119 High school of Yerevan, the second prize won high school N54 and the third place took High school N2.
