OFFICIAL VISIT TO THE CHESS ACADEMY

Today, on January 13, the President of the Republic of Armenia, who doubles as the President of the Armenian Chess Federation, Serzh Sargsyan and the Mayor of Yeravan, the President of the Yerevan Chess Federation Taron Margaryan visited the Chess Academy of Armenia, were present at the 6th Andranik Margaryan Memorial and watched the games of young chess players.
In the framework of the Memorial Swiss and Round Robin tournaments are being carried out. This year over 770 young chess players from all Armenian regions, NKR and Georgia, and 10 strong young chess playes from Ukraine, Russia, Iran and Armenia are participating in the Swiss and Round Robin tournaments, respectively.
