Blitz Chess Tournament Dedicated To The Memory Of Arsen Yeghiazaryan

Chess Academy of Armenia is organizing blitz tournament dedicated to the memory of Armenian honored coach, GM Arsen Yeghiazaryan.

The tournament will be held on June 18 at 16:00, which will take place on the site www.lichess.org .

Participation:

Participants must have at least second chess category.

Rules and regulations:

The tournament will be held in 9-round Swiss system in accordance with FIDE Laws of Chess. All other regulations apply as per FIDE Handbook.

Time control is 3 minutes for the whole game with 1 seconds increment starting from move one.

Tie-Breaks:

In case of equal points, the prizes will be determined on the website of the Swiss tournament on www.lichess.org.

In case of a tie the prizes will not be shared. No player can receive more than one prize.

ATTENTION!
Here are the mandatory conditions for participation:

• During the tournament all participants should join by zoom platform with the cameras on and share screen,

• The organizer has the right to remove from the tournament the participant who is suspected of unfair play,

• All those participants whose usernames on the online platform have ever been closed due to unfair play are not eligible to participate in the tournament.

• Prizes will be awarded two days after the tournament, only after checking the played games to avoid awarding prizes to computer-aided participants.
