Chess Tournament Dedicated to Moscow City Day

On september 3-4 “Dom Moskvy” Cultural-Business Center of Moscow in Yerevan in cooperation with Chess Academy of Armenia is organizing Online Chess Tournament dedicated to Moscow City Day.

The semifinal stage will be held at the Chess Academy of Armenia and the final stage will be held in “Dom Moskvy” Cultural-Business Center of Moscow in Yerevan.

Participation:

Participants must have at least second chess category.

Rules and regulations:

The tournament will be held in 9-round Swiss system in accordance with FIDE Laws of Chess. All other regulations apply as per FIDE Handbook.

Time control is 3 minutes for the whole game with 2 seconds increment starting from move one.

Prizes: 

Total prize fund 350 000 AMD

The semifinal stage prize fund 150 000 AMD

The final stage prize fund 200 000 AMD

1st place -  40 000 AMD
2nd place -  30 000 AMD
3rd place -  20 000 AMD
4th place -  10 000 AMD
5th place -  10 000 AMD

Special prizes:

best performance among girls - 10 000 AMD

best performance among children up to 14 years of age - 10 000 AMD

best performance among children up to 12 years of age -10 000 AMD

best performance among players who have 1st category - 5 000 AMD

best performance among players who have 2nd category – 5 000 AMD
