The 16th Andranik Margaryan Memorial has officially started

On January 9, the opening ceremony and the first round of the 16th Andranik Margaryan Memorial has officially started at the Chess Academy of Armenia, marking another important chapter in honoring the memory of Andranik Margaryan.

During the event, welcome remarks were delivered by GM Smbat Lputyan, Founder and President of the Chess Academy of Armenia, and Armen Hambartsumyan, President of the American Chess Academy.

This marks the start of a competitive play and setting the stage for an exciting tournament ahead.
