Teams of the Chess Academy of Armenia are the winners of the Euroleague Junior Online

U12 and U16 teams of the Chess Academy of Armenia took part in the Junior Euroleague Youth Online Championship to be held from April 25. Both teams successfully overcame the obstacles of both the preliminary stages and semi-finals and reached the final, where their opponent was the Russian team. The final round of the Euroleague Junior Online Championship took place on May 31. The U12 team of the Chess Academy of Armenia represented by Rudolf Pashikyan,  Nikolay Hovyan, Vahe Sukiasyan, Menua Hakobyan and Mihran Zurnachyan, defeated the Russian team with the score of 13-3 and became the Junior Euroleague Champion. The U16  team of the Chess Academy of Armenia, represented by Robert Muradyan, Arshak Melkonyan, Arsen Davtyan and Raffi Ghazaryan, due to persistent efforts, defeated the Russian team with the score of 8.5-7.5 , which had a rather high rating, and also became the Junior Euroleague Champion.
