The 16th Andranik Margaryan Memorial has kicked off

Today, the 16th Andranik Margaryan Memorial tournament kicked off at the Chess Academy of Armenia.

For years, this tournament has brought together hundreds of boys and girls from various regions of Armenia to honor the memory of Andranik Margaryan and preserve his values and chess traditions.

We are proud to announce that this year, 630 young participants are taking part in the tournament, representing different regions and communities of Armenia.

At the opening ceremony, greetings were delivered by Aghasi Inants, member of the Board of the Chess Federation of Armenia, Armen Hambardzumyan, President of the American Chess Academy, and Father Shahe, who also blessed the tournament. 

We wish all participants fair play and success.
