“Chess Academy Cup – 2026” Blitz Chess Tournament

On February 13 at 4:00 PM, the Chess Academy of Armenia, in cooperation with the “Chess Academy Club,” is organising the first stage of the “Chess Academy Cup – 2026” Blitz Chess Tournament.

Participants

Chess players with at least Second Category qualification are eligible to participate.

Tournament Format

The tournament will be held under the Swiss system, consisting of 9 rounds, in accordance with FIDE Chess Rules.
International (FIDE) blitz rating will be calculated.

Time Control

3 minutes for the entire game, with an increment of 2 seconds per move, starting from the first move.

Registration

Tournament registration is conducted online and is open until February 10, 6:00 PM.
