Amateur Rapid Chess Tournament /Team U18/

The Chess Academy of Armenia and Alpha Pharm pharmacy chain are organizing an Amateur Rapid Chess Tournament on July 11 at 11:00 AM at Freedom Square (Opera Square).

PARTICIPATION

Tournament C will be held in a team format, according to the FIDE Laws of Chess, using the Swiss system with 6–7 rounds (depending on the number of participating teams).

Tournament C is open to players under the age of 18 whose national and international ratings do not exceed 2150 (as of May 1, 2026).

Both the national and international ratings of the participants must not exceed the above-mentioned rating limit.

TIME CONTROL

10 minutes per player for the entire game, with a 2-second increment per move starting from move one.

REGISTRATION

The deadline for submitting applications is July 9, 2026, at 6:00 PM.
