AMATEUR RAPID CHESS TOURNAMENT /INDIVIDUAL-TEAM/

On August 29, 2026, at 10:30 AM, the Chess Academy of Armenia, in cooperation with Alfa Pharm, will organize an Amateur Rapid Chess Tournament. The tournament will be held in two sections: Group A and Group B.

Group A is open to all adult players whose national and FIDE ratings do not exceed 2100 (as of May 1, 2026).

Group B is open to all adult players whose national and FIDE ratings do not exceed 2000 (as of May 1, 2026).

Time control: 10 minutes + 2-second increment per move

Venue: Alexandrovski Restaurant, 218/1 Abovyan Street, Gyumri, Armenia

Participation is free of charge.
