The Final Stage of the 20th Armenian School Chess Olympiad

The final stage of the Armenian School Chess Olympiad will take place in Kapan from September 10 to 13, bringing together the best school teams from different regions of Armenia as they compete for the title of Olympiad champion.

This year marks the 20th edition of the Olympiad. For two decades, through the collaboration of the Chess Academy of Armenia, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia, and AGBU Armenia, chess and education have come together to give schoolchildren the opportunity to develop their chess skills, compete, make new friends, and challenge themselves.
